How to calculate electronic susceptibility X(q,w)

#1 Post by asif_ali28 » Fri Jul 21, 2023 4:45 pm

Dear all,

Is there any way to calculate both the real and imaginary parts of (interacting/non-interacting) electronic susceptibility?

As I wanted to plot them as performed here: PhysRevB.73.205102 and PhysRevB.77.165135.

I would be grateful if you could provide me with some information regarding this.

Thanking You

Regards

Dear asif_ali28,

You can find a tutorial on how to obtain the dielectric function here tutorials/latest/gw/part1/. I would also advise you to check through the wiki about all the necessary variables. Do note that once you have the dielectric function you will need to use Eq. (6) of PhysRevB.77.165135 to recompute the susceptibility.

Kind regards,
Pedro Melo
