hamil.F - Intel 11 & PGI-8 compilers

I'd like to ask if the latest "revision" of hamil.F introduced in Vasp.4.6.36 can also be implemented in Vasp.5.2.2.

As it looks, the "memory"-problem with hamil.F has been resolved with the latest version Vasp.4.6.36. Before, I wasn't able to run sucessfully a 512-atom test problem when using compilers such as PGF-7, PGF-8, or Intel 11. Now it seems to work with 4.6.36.

Vasp.5.2.2, however, still contains the old "work-around" in hamil.F, which doesn't work with Intel 11 or PGI-8 (at least not here, but then 4.6.36 now does work here) --- an update here would be very much welcome.

Hi,

We're sorry that we didn’t answer your question. This does not live up to the quality of support that we aim to provide. The team has since expanded. If we can still help with your problem, please ask again in a new post, linking to this one, and we will answer as quickly as possible.

Best wishes,

VASP
