Problem with VASP 6.4.2 and VTST_tools

While compiling 6.4.2 with VTST_tools we've encountered some problems,

VTST is not developed or maintained by us, so unfortunately we cannot give you any guidance on how to install it.
Perhaps you could get some support from the VTST developers?

I understand, I tried the VTST_tools forum but couldn't figure out how to register.
