Hello,
We have a project using machine-learning to reproduce vasp results. Specifically, we are trying to reproduce results from Materials Project. Unfortunately many of these computations use previous versions of POTCAR files. In order to improve accuracy we would like to use the same POTCAR files, but they do not appear to be available through the VASP website. The set we would like are 'PAW POTCAR files: LDA & PBE, 5.2 & 5.4'. Does anyone know if there is a way to download these outdated potcar files?
Thank you for any help.

Re: Availability of previous POTCAR files
Hi,
They are available on the VASP Portal in the same way the current POTCAR files are available. Just scroll down in history and find the post with "PAW POTCAR files: LDA & PBE, 5.2 & 5.4 (original unvie release version)" as a title.

Re: Availability of previous POTCAR files
Hello,
Thanks for the reply. When I go to the portal it says 'no downloads available', but I'm listed as a 'Standard License Member'. Does this mean not all license members have download privileges?
Thanks,
Kevin
